# Global Goals Jam

> Global Goals Jam (GGJ) is a worldwide series of 48-hour design sprints in which local, multidisciplinary teams create concrete interventions for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Jams are run by certified local hosts in cities around the world and follow four sprints: Understand, Define, Prototype, Implement. Outcomes are shared openly. The community was co-initiated in Amsterdam (2016) by Marco van Hout and partners, originally with UNDP, and is coordinated from globalgoalsjam.org.

- The GGJ Host Programme (9 modules, self-paced, on learn.globalgoalsjam.org) is free for everyone.
- Official "Certified GGJ Host" certification costs €39 once, unlocks host status, the host dashboard and the right to run official jams, and funds the platform and community.
- Anyone can generate a facilitation-ready jam agenda with the free Toolkit Generator.
